The SUITE project goes to its end! Thanks to the partnership with the Università degli Studi di Firenze (DIEF) and the co-financing of the Regione Toscana, we’ve developed and validated the integrated environment based on #ArtificialIntelligence & #BigDataAnalysis for aeromechanical design of wind turbine blades. The application to a case study highlighted the potential of the innovative approach, proving to be flexible, effective and adaptable. The analysis is more than 50% faster compared to a traditional approach, while for the design the use of AI tools allows real-time selecting an optimal machine with performance targets dictated by the specific need (e.g., maximum torque, lowest stresses, minimum weight, etc …), as well as obtaining the characteristic operating curve by varying the wind speed.
